The Heurich House Museum continues its annual Christkindlmarkt tradition for the 5th year. On Friday, December 1st from 4-9pm the museum will host a Made in DC night, featuring products made in the District. The market will also be open on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am-5pm and Sunday, December 3rd from 11am-5pm featuring products made all over the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
The museum honors the Heurich family’s German heritage by recreating a traditional German public Christmas market in its garden. This holiday shopping event, Dupont Circle's only holiday market, features goods from local artisans, including jewelers, ceramicists, bakers, makers of housewares and more. Tour the historic home of DC's most successful brewmaster Christian Heurich to view seasonal decorations and enjoy the Victorian splendor of the mansion.
On Saturday and Sunday, the museum will offer a special VIP shopping hour from 10 am to 11 am, limited to 75 attendees. Those attendees will have exclusive access to the vendors and first pick of items all while avoiding the lines and crowds! The museum will open at 11 am, so VIPs can be first to see the seasonally decorated home.
Tickets are available online in advance and at the door. Admission fee includes all day admission to the market and one entry to the historic Heurich home. Refreshments available for purchase. Online ticket sales will close at 5pm on November 30th. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
